Music Producer

We are looking for a highly organised, self-motivated and ideas driven Music Producer to lead on the creative development, delivery, and in-progress presentation of music / an EP for a Boundless commission.

We are transitioning to a new producing model which will merge audience and artistic development, taking our audience on a longer-term journey of discovery ahead of live production. The Music Producer will play a crucial role in working with the lead artists to develop a high-quality concept EP album containing music that will be featured in the live production of the commissioned work in 2022. The Music Producer will work with the Associate Producer (Creative Development) to plan and present hybrid (live and digital) sharing of the work in progress.

We are open to considering combination/joint applications with the Associate Producer (Creative Development).

We welcome applications from all and are especially keen to receive those from people less represented in the arts by written application or video.

Your Role at a Glance

They will work closely with the Boundless team to ensure a high-quality creative process with multiple opportunities for engagement (in person and digital) with 15-25-year-olds and a clear pathway to official release.

What You’ll be Doing

You will be reporting to the Artistic Director & CEO and Executive Director. You will be assembling and contracting the creative and production teams, setting a detailed timeline and action plan for creative development and recording, managing the project budget, and planning the hybrid presentations with support from the Associate Producer (Creative Development).

You’ll work over 15 days to the end of June to ensure delivery of the creative development work, recording and hybrid presentations.

Terms of Employment

Hours: 15 Days through to end of June 2021

Fee: £3,000

Contract Type: Freelance, Fixed Term

Start Date: Immediately

Location: Remote working (from home) with ability to work in person in London as required

Associate Producer (Creative Development)

The Associate Producer (Creative Development) will play a crucial role in working with the lead artists to develop digital extensions and presentations (interactive workshops, Q&As, informal sharing etc), and support the development of the work for production in 2021 and 2022.

Marketing & Audience Associate

We are looking for an innovator, a passionate marketing and audience development expert and someone who wants to prove that 15-25 year olds can socialise and engage around theatre.  We’re launching a new hybrid in-person and digital creative development project for three Boundless productions and this new freelance, fixed term role will deliver a marketing and audience development strategy that attracts young adults to our work in June 2021.

Your Role at a Glance

The Marketing & Audience Associate will be responsible for the successful delivery of a marketing and audience development strategy for three creative development projects linked to future Boundless productions and support the launch of a new digital website platform on boundlesstheatre.org.uk for 15-25 year olds.  You will be working closely with the Boundless team to devise strategies for long term effective audience development and marketing to 15-25 year olds and ensure that the company’s work between April – June is reaching the largest possible young adult audience online and in person.

What You’ll be Doing

Reporting to the Artistic Director & CEO you will work with a dynamic team to find innovative ways to build an engaged and diverse audience around 3 creative development projects and a new space on the Boundless website.  You’ll be setting up marketing systems and using tools that you know to be effective to ensure we are reaching the widest possible audience.  You will recommend and implement transformative solutions to ensure Boundless Theatre lives and breathes its values and reaches larger audiences of young adults.  You’ll work over 24 days to the end of June to ensure that three future productions have robust marketing strategies, that start with the delivery of public creative development, sharings and workshops in late June 2021.

Social Media Community Assistant

We’re looking for a Social Media Community Assistant to support us during the promotion of season two of our fiction podcast Radio Elusia, launching in Spring 2021.

We are welcoming applications from people with all levels of experience including those people that have gained experience through their own profiles and activity on socials.  So long as you can meet what we’re looking for below and are passionate about community and podcasts, we’d love to hear from you. We welcome applications from all and are especially keen to receive those from people less represented in the arts by written application or video.

What is Radio Elusia?

Set in the sprawling fictional city of Elusia, this new weekly podcast from Boundless Theatre, about transmission and revolution, was launched in March 2020 written by Nina Segal. The second season, launching this spring sees the writing pass to a group of 6 early career writers from across the UK.  Expect explosive action, new threats from the totalitarian Archon and a fight to be heard, not just listened to.

Radio Elusia has built a strong following so far since launch in March last year and is ready to kick off with season two, written by James Nash, Sadhana Narayanan, Kc Gardiner, Jane Morris & Nina Cassells and directed by Rob Drummer and Rob Awosusi as Associate Director.

Now for season two we are aiming to grow our community further and reach more young listeners and engage meaningfully in the podcast community.

Your Role at a Glance

The Social Media Community Assistant will be responsible for populating all Radio Elusia channels with engaging content, interacting with our existing podcast audience as well engaging with new audiences and grow our podcast community.

You will be working closely with the Boundless team, in order to create engaging and powerful content and execute content ideas that you’ll will share and pitch to the team.

Write an IDEAS post for us

We are commissioning two new Ideas posts for the Boundless website and looking for inspiring, critical, empowering, and disruptive opinion pieces that are for our community of 15-25 year olds. 

For this brief, we are looking for pieces dealing with either of the following topics: 

Theatre, where next? (500 Words) 

We are keen to read pitches for impactful pieces picking up on current issues that discuss theatre in a fresh and different way.  We’re leaving this one wide open so that we encourage a variety of ideas from diverse perspectives.  

Digital culture & sustainability. (500 words) 

We want to share new and innovative ideas on how to make the digital space more environmentally sustainable and what impact the digital carbon footprint has on us as a society & how we can change it. We would like to see a critical and innovative approach to that topic, focussing on theatre, social & digital spaces and other emerging digital areas that are emerging or have become part of our daily life.
