Exhibit and/or sell your art work at The Box!
We are looking for Scarborough artists to showcase and sell artwork across the summer in our creative hub.
What is it?
The Box is a pop-up creative space, arriving for 8 weeks to the coast. We are looking for local artists to exhibit and sell artwork on various days across the 8 weeks. This is a free opportunity for Scarborough based artists to showcase and sell artwork while The Box is in Scarborough.
We can offer a range of dates between June 20th and August 17th. The Box will be on Foreshore Road, Scarborough, UK.
Who is this for?
Scarborough based artists, with work that is inspired or influenced by Scarborough and local areas.
We have an additional bursary available to support artists under 25 to expense travel to and from The Box.
What we offer
- The space to exhibit and sell your space this summer in Scarborough
- A member of staff present to open and manage the box, (you will still need to be present to sell/showcase your work)
- Marketing support to drive people to your artwork
- Administration and sales support

Please include: who you are, a bit about your artwork and why the pop-up shop would benefit you as a local artist. Please also suggest a few dates that you would be available for.
Back to The Box in Scarborough
Note
We are excited to showcase the work of lots of artists in Scarborough but there is a limited availability, so we will not be able to offer a space to everyone.
Artists will take home the profits for sales minus minimal fees incurred with the management of The Box as a space for artists. To support artists we are keeping fees to an absolute minimum to cover card transactions and other small fees.
